Cairo News correspondent Ramadan Al-Mutani said that the United Nations Secretary General is trying to communicate with the parties, whether Egypt or Israel, so that major humanitarian aid can enter the Gaza Strip.
Al-Mutani, during a special reporting by Cairo News, added that all efforts, whether by Egypt, the United Nations or by the parties involved in the crisis, are necessarily intended to provide assistance to those affected in Gaza.
He pointed out that Guterres inspected a number of planes carrying humanitarian aid, boarded a plane coming from the Emirates to inspect this aid, and then headed to the Rafah crossing.
Regarding the amount of aid waiting at Al-Arish Airport to enter Gaza, the Cairo News correspondent said the aid includes medical aid and medicine, estimated at 7 tons, in addition to water and food.
He continued: “Al-Arish Airport has also received a number of aids from a number of countries, including an Emirati plane that carried tons of aid, and also aid that arrived yesterday by a Pakistani plane.”
He continued: “There is also Russian aid, including bags of flour and some other food products, in addition to Emirati medical aid.”
