On the afternoon of the last Wednesday of September, while the victim was returning to her house after completing her educational classes, the suspect waited for her in front of his house and asked her to enter his house at the request of his mother. who works as a specialist at the victim’s school: “Come, Mama Aizaki.”
Without any hesitation, the victim complied with what the suspect asked, and it did not occur to her that she had fallen into a trap and that her colleague had claimed this to sexually abuse her. As soon as the victim entered the empty house, the suspect closed the door and tried to harass and attack her, but she screamed for someone to hear her for help, but to no avail.
Fearing being exposed, the suspect attacked the victim, tightened his grip on her neck until her screams were silenced, then brought a knife and stabbed her repeatedly in the body, ending her life instantly.
The suspect waited until the street was clear of passers-by and hid the victim’s body in a haystack on a piece of farmland adjacent to the village cemetery.
It was unusual for the girl to come home late, so her family searched everywhere for him, but to no avail. Over time, news of her disappearance spread through the village and most people started looking for her. Two days later they found her body in a ‘haystack’ next to the village cemeteries.
The people informed the security forces in Sharqia and a security force moved to the place where the body was found. The body was taken to the morgue of Al-Ahrar Teaching Hospital in Zagazig city.
The incident angered the villagers and turned social networking sites into platforms of anger and protest bringing demands for justice and the maximum punishment for the suspects.
Sixteen days after the victim’s disappearance, security services managed to uncover the mystery of her disappearance, and investigations revealed that the girl’s colleague, who lived in the same village, was behind the incident.
The suspect was arrested and when confronted, he admitted to committing the incident as directed. He was referred to the Public Prosecution Service, which ordered him detained for four days pending the investigation.
